Bonnie

Bonnie is the Recording Secretary for the Sierra Nevada Chapter for the 2022-2024 term. She is a third-generation daughter celebrating 20 years of membership. She is a past Recording Secretary and Historian for Nevada Sagebrush Chapter and past recording Secretary for Sierra Nevada Chapter. She will also be serving the Bell Administration as the State Chair for American Heritage. She is the chair for the Conservation, the American Heritage and DAR Service for Veterans Committees.

Bonnie was also the State Senior Historian for the Fort Churchill Society CAR. The Fort Churchill Society was originally organized in 1958 and disbanded in 1979. It was re-organized in 2011. Bonnie and her granddaughters were active until Abbi joined Sierra Nevada Chapter in 2018. CAR needs you and your grandchildren to stay vital and active.

DAR members touch lives every day and accomplish many goals in our community. Do you sculpt, write, act, play an instrument, sing in the church choir, crochet, knit, or quilt? The American Heritage Committee is for you! For over 100 years, the DAR has promoted good stewardship of our natural resources.  Bonnie hopes you will volunteer for the Conservation Committee. Do you have a girlfriend whose health is challenged? How about joining the Women’s Issues Committee? Do you love to read? How about the Literacy Committee? Do you want to serve our veterans? There is a committee or two for that!

Thank you for the honor of serving as Recording Secretary. Let’s make it our best year yet!
